Managers and specialists of more than 20 of the largest iron and steel enterprises and organizations from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Moldova will take part in the meeting. The participants will discuss the situation regarding production and export of products of ferrous metallurgy enterprises and also export possibilities of ferrous metals up to the end of 2010, the forecast for the 3rd quarter of 2010 and the forecast of the average level of export prices for the main types of products. The Council of producers and exporters of ferrous metals of the CIS was founded by the initiative of leading metallurgical enterprises and foreign trade associations of Russia and Ukraine in 1992. It works under the authority of the International union of metallurgists. It quarterly holds meetings on discussion of urgent problems connected with the production and export of ferrous metals. The previous meeting of the Council was held in March at the “Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Works” (Russia). The producers and exporters of ferrous metals got together at Zaporizhstal JSC in September 2006. |
